Rating 4 out of 5 Overall IT Gurukul is a great school, besides it’s odd shape it has a lot of great things going for it. Wonderful sports and arts programs, and great AP offerings. Although the culture can be very competitive and there are fights often, the school makes up for it by being having generally really good teachers and staff.
Coming from out of state and enrolling my Junior year, Apex High School was very welcoming. There are good variety of AP classes to help prepare you for college. The athletics program is good, I played softball both junior and senior years, and the school is competitive in many interscholastic sports. With the area growing quickly, the school is big, and class sizes can be big as well. I do wish they did more stuff for seniors to commemorate their final year of high school.
I really enjoyed my time there and made many great memories. The best part of my experience would be having a lot of supportive teachers who are willing to help you. The worst part would be the principal because she didn’t let us do a lot of fun activities that other high schools got to do. Overall, I had a great time and hopefully the principal gets changed.
Most of the staff is kind, although there are some bad eggs. The school is kept pretty clean. It is a bit overcrowded but nothing too bad. It is a well built school and I do think that there is a lot of care put into the happiness and safety of the students.
